Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling. Dalwhinnie 15yo is a good introduction to the delights of single malt whisky – elegant, smooth and medium-bodied, with a light, fruity palate and a whiff of heather on the finish. Part of Diageo's Classic Malt range. The nose has a deep, soft, honeyed sweetness: think caramelized fruits, hints of thick cream, and a light touch of fennel and sharp citrus. Thick in the centre and very gentle, it's that chunkiness in the middle that is the secret to its beauty.
