tasting notes : Pale clear in colour. The bouquet is fresh and lively with citrus and mint notes. The palate starts sweet with a peppery spice developing quickly with a hint of earthiness. The finish is smooth with a pleasant kick.

Rooster Rojo Ahumado Tequila is made from hand selected 100% Blue Weber Agave. The fruit that we select comes from the Los Altos de Jalisco and the tequila from personally selected fields. Rooster Rojo Ahumado Tequila is crafted according to traditional smoked tequila technology in our artisanal underground oven.

The water used for distilling is filtered through Mexican silver, which gives the liquid greater complexity,  softness and overall a more gentle taste on the palate.

Reserva de la Familia® Reposado earns its rich and sophisticated qualities through a unique barrel-aging process. Smooth and complex flavors are crafted and blended by our Master Tequilero. Flavors of cooked agave blend perfectly with notes of toffee, vanilla, and spice picked up from the wood.

Delicious and unique reposado that is rarely available outside of Mexico. Aged in 3 different barrel types: heavily toasted American Oak, and lightly toasted American and French Oak.

the body is full of pepper, caramel, agave, vanilla, oak and I get a little butterscotch and anise as well. It has a long and flavor-able finish. 

tasting notes : Amber in colour. The bouquet opens with a distinct oakiness, chocolate, tobacco, and coffee notes. The palate has caramel, oak, vanilla, and fruity roasted agave notes. Finishes smooth and long with lingering vanilla and oak.
