Rooster Rojo Reposado is aged for more than 2 months in oak barrels.

tasting notes : Amber in colour. The bouquet opens with a distinct oakiness, chocolate, tobacco, and coffee notes. The palate has caramel, oak, vanilla, and fruity roasted agave notes. Finishes smooth and long with lingering vanilla and oak.

Rooster Rojo Ahumado Tequila is made from hand selected 100% Blue Weber Agave. The fruit that we select comes from the Los Altos de Jalisco and the tequila from personally selected fields. Rooster Rojo Ahumado Tequila is crafted according to traditional smoked tequila technology in our artisanal underground oven.

The water used for distilling is filtered through Mexican silver, which gives the liquid greater complexity,  softness and overall a more gentle taste on the palate.
