WALSH WHISKEY

On the nose, orchard fruits fill the glass. Hints of vanilla and spices emerge.
The palate is supple with juicy fruit. Spices and ginger give it a mid-palate kick.
The finish lingers on exquisite dark chocolate flavors.

Jameson Caskmates sees the reuse of old whiskey barrels. Nothing new in that, but in between, they've been used to age stout from Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch to this classic Irish whiskey.

West Cork Irish Stout Cask Matured Blended Irish Whiskey is made from a delicate blend of grain (75%) and malt (25%) whiskey. It is aged in first fill bourbon casks and then finished in casks that had held Black’s of Kinsale Stout which gives an aroma of chocolate, raisins and cracked nuts and a taste of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. This uniquely Irish whiskey is also blended and bottled at 40%.

A full bodied scotch has rich notes of honey, apple, fudge, vanilla, and wood with a subtle smokiness.

Aroma: Sweet and aromatic spice notes with cinnamon in the foreground.

Taste: Strong and sweet on the palate. First malt and cinnamon, followed by vanilla with a light syrupy body.

Finish: Long lasting with a fiery cinnamon finish.
