Jameson Caskmates sees the reuse of old whiskey barrels. Nothing new in that, but in between, they've been used to age stout from Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch to this classic Irish whiskey.

A single malt whiskey made by West Cork Distillers and famous band The Pogues. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this Irish whiskey has delicately floral nose, with aromas of lavender, meadow flowers, sesame, caramelised cashews and salted chocolate. West Cork Irish Stout Cask Matured Blended Irish Whiskey is made from a delicate blend of grain (75%) and malt (25%) whiskey. It is aged in first fill bourbon casks and then finished in casks that had held Black’s of Kinsale Stout which gives an aroma of chocolate, raisins and cracked nuts and a taste of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. This uniquely Irish whiskey is also blended and bottled at 40%.
