Bottled at 55.5%, this is the first official release of Glen Ord we've seen in years, bottled under the Singleton range. Bottled at 17 years it was finished in Mezcal and Second Fill Sherry Casks.
tasting notes : "Dive into new depths of fruit and spice. Discover a glorious combination of two different The Singleton of Glen Ord liquids: one finished in Mexican ex-mezcal casks, the other in second-fill Spanish sherry casks, for an experimental interplay of delicious flavours. Rich fruity notes entwine with aromatic spice. One sip, a single moment of true pleasure."
Jameson Caskmates sees the reuse of old whiskey barrels. Nothing new in that, but in between, they've been used to age stout from Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch to this classic Irish whiskey.

Triple distilled, twice charred, for a rich smooth taste.
Charring is an age-old method for invigorating barrels to intensify the taste. Jameson Black Barrel is our tribute to our coopers, who painstakingly give their bourbon barrels an additional charring to reveal their untold richness and complexity. Because every barrel contains secrets; the trick is coaxing them out.
Chivas, the original luxury blended Scotch whisky, brings together the best single malt and grain whiskeys. Each component of the malt, grain and whiskey is special and unique, and when mixed together they create something extraordinary. Each Chivas Scotch Whiskey has its own unique formula and undergoes a careful selection of different aged whiskies, giving it its own character, flavor and taste experience. Chivas' belief in blending was instilled by founding brothers, James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending in 19th century Scotland.
Smooth, rich and generous, Chivas 12 is a classic for a reason. Iconic Speyside flavours sit at the core of this 12-year-old blended Scotch whisky, made up of the finest malt and grain whiskies. Luxurious honey, vanilla and ripe apple notes are delivered with every sip.
