Rooster Rojo Ahumado Tequila is crafted according to traditional smoked tequila technology in our artisanal underground oven.

The water used for distilling is filtered through Mexican silver, which gives the liquid greater complexity,  softness and overall a more gentle taste on the palate.

the body is full of pepper, caramel, agave, vanilla, oak and I get a little butterscotch and anise as well. It has a long and flavor-able finish. 

tasting notes : Amber in colour. The bouquet opens with a distinct oakiness, chocolate, tobacco, and coffee notes. The palate has caramel, oak, vanilla, and fruity roasted agave notes. Finishes smooth and long with lingering vanilla and oak.
