Every year since 2001, a limited collection of exquisitely crafted Scotch Whisky original bottlings in their natural cask strength see the light of day
This remarkable Lagavulin The Ink of Legends Single Malt has had 12 years of maturation. Throughout its maturation, it was aged exclusively in Don Julio Añejo Tequila Casks. This unique choice of casks has given the whisky a very special flavor dimension, as it has absorbed the subtle but complex nuances of tequila. The distillery has chosen to leave this Limited Edition in its natural form, bottling it at natural cask strength at 56.4% by volume.
To a Lagavulin at its most vigorous, delicious to drink and full of distillery character, the tequila finishing casks have brought indelible layers of bright, herbal smoke and dark plum fruit.

The palate is supple with juicy fruit. Spices and ginger give it a mid-palate kick.
The finish lingers on exquisite dark chocolate flavors.
Jameson Caskmates sees the reuse of old whiskey barrels. Nothing new in that, but in between, they've been used to age stout from Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch to this classic Irish whiskey.

Chivas, the original luxury blended Scotch whisky, brings together the best single malt and grain whiskeys. Each component of the malt, grain and whiskey is special and unique, and when mixed together they create something extraordinary. Each Chivas Scotch Whiskey has its own unique formula and undergoes a careful selection of different aged whiskies, giving it its own character, flavor and taste experience. Chivas' belief in blending was instilled by founding brothers, James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending in 19th century Scotland.
